Mild Mantis Angle Kit

The FDF Nissan 350Z/Infiniti G35 Mild Mantis Angle Kit represents the original design for enhanced steering capabilities. It includes a full lower control arm setup with a smooth adjuster nut for easy caster adjustments and a knuckle adapter that allows for fine-tuning Ackermann without part swaps. This kit is engineered to provide up to 65 degrees of steering angle and an adjustable track width of 25mm-50mm wider per side, creating a stable and high-clearance front end. Key features include 4 degrees of Ackermann per side when using the offset rack spacers, a corrected bump steer through perfected tie-rod offset LCA ball joint placement, and optimized camber at -5.5 degrees to counteract caster at full lock. The kit utilizes chromoly heim joints and spherical bearings with self-lubricating nylon races, ensuring durability and easy replacement. It is constructed from high-strength alloy steel and aluminum for a durable, reliable, and lightweight assembly. The "Mild Mantis" kit is designed to work with coilovers and is noted to have good fitment, though subframes from 2003 Nissan 350Z or G35 models may require replacement due to slight differences. Options are available for including adjustable or on-car adjustable upper control arms, as well as offset rack spacers and a heim joint tie-rod setup.
