The RC40 exhaust system is a mild steel muffler featuring two silencers and a 1.3/4" bore. It is designed for carburettor Mini models from 1959 to 1992, including 1.3 Cooper and 1000 cc cars fitted with an unregulated catalytic converter. This exhaust system does not have vehicle type approval for Germany.

The RC40 exhaust system is constructed from mild steel and features a 1.3/4" bore with two integrated silencers. This muffler is specifically designed for Mini carburettor models produced between 1959 and 1992. It is compatible with 1.3 Cooper and 1000 cc variants, provided they are equipped with an unregulated catalytic converter. This exhaust system is intended as a performance upgrade for classic Mini vehicles. While the exhaust itself is a direct fit for the specified models, it is recommended to consider complementary upgrades for optimal performance. Accessories such as the RC40 exhaust mounting kit, Maniflow Tubular manifolds (3-in-2-in-1 LCB type or 3-in-1 Freeflow type), and stainless steel exhaust link pipes are available to complete the system. It is important to note that this RC40 exhaust system does not carry vehicle type approval for Germany. While fitting an RC40 can be done without further modification after installation, changing the exhaust manifold to a compatible, higher-performance unit is often recommended for better overall results. Please ensure compatibility with your specific Mini model's exhaust manifold and catalytic converter setup.
