The Quik-Latch Mini Latch Assembly (QL-25-S22) is a highly versatile quick-release fastener crafted from durable T-6 aluminum and stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. Featuring a machined finish and a compact 0.875-inch (22mm) diameter, this latch is designed for a wide range of applications beyond just automotive customization, including cabinetry, industrial uses, marine environments, and recreational vehicles. Its push-button operation allows for easy unlatching without the need for tools, which helps prevent scratches on automotive finishes. Engineered for strength and reliability, the Quik-Latch Mini can withstand a pulling force of up to 150 pounds. Its robust construction has earned it approval from the NHRA for use in drag racing, attesting to its durability and performance under demanding conditions. While the QL-25 series latches are incredibly versatile, they are not intended for use as a primary hood latch mechanism in applications where the OEM hood latch is absent.
