The Mishimoto 2015-2020 BMW F8X M3/M4 Performance Intercooler Power Pack addresses weaknesses in BMW's charge pipe design by utilizing full aluminum construction and a cast mid-section for increased boost pressure handling. The kit includes matte black silicone couplers. The redesigned Air-to-Water Intercooler features a bar-and-plate core with a 29% increase in core volume and a single-pass coolant flow layout, resulting in a 12°F temperature drop in intake air temperatures. The heat exchanger boasts a 6-inch height increase, an 180% increase in external fin surface area, and a 60% increase in core volume, leading to a 10°F drop in global intercooler coolant temperatures and an average gain of 11 whp and 8 wtq when tested on a stage 1 tuned M3.
