Specifically, this system will delete your factory muffler to give you a deep, resonant exhaust roar that’s sure to send chills down your spine. This new aggressive sound, however, is actually quite low-key and drone-free from your interior. This means you get to experience a relaxing drive – even as you make your fellow motorists sweat. Amplified Power and Torque. This axle-back exhaust will also provide your ride with practical gains in power and torque courtesy of its free-flowing design. More to the point, this design works to increase exhaust gas velocity, permitting your engine to breathe more efficiently. This yields a significant increase in horsepower and torque. Moreover, this system deletes your rather large suitcase-style muffler, decreasing your weight and increasing your Camaro’s high-performance capabilities. High-Strength Stainless Steel Build Quality. This Mishimoto axle-back exhaust gets its durability from its premium 3-inch 304 tubular stainless steel construction. Additionally, these stainless steel tubes are formed using an advanced mandrel bending process that eliminates any turbulence-creating areas along their inner surface. This axle-back exhaust is designed to install into your Camaro’s factory exhaust location. You will need to cut out the factory exhaust for a proper fit.
