The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is a full intake system that replaces every core component in the OEM system, including the airbox and the intake pipe. It features a 3-inch aluminum pipe that routes all the way to the turbo. The airbox has a design similar to the stock airbox but facilitates an improved pressure drop with an open top, exposing the filter to more air and sealing the box against the hood, keeping it fully enclosed. This airbox uses the factory air inlet ducts, grabbing air right from the front of the car, and the ports are surrounded with weather stripping to avoid movement. The system is designed for a direct bolt-in installation with no cutting or modification to factory components. It is safe on a stock tune and provides maximum gains of 12 hp and 15 ft-lbs of torque.
