The Mishimoto turbo blanket is designed for 1996-2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins vehicles. It helps reduce engine bay heat caused by turbochargers, which can negatively impact intake air temperatures and engine power. By insulating the hot side of the turbocharger, this blanket keeps exhaust gases hot for more efficient and better-spooling turbo performance.

Constructed with an outer layer of volcanic lava rock and titanium woven fabric, and an inner layer of high-silica fabric with a stainless-steel mesh, this blanket is built for durability. The inner layer can withstand temperatures over 2,300°F (1,260°C), while the outer layer protects against temperatures exceeding 1,760°F (960°C).
