The Syncrotech MK-SYN117B-3 is a master rebuild kit engineered to upgrade the synchronizers in your 6-speed manual transmission. This kit utilizes durable brass synchronizers for enhanced performance and longevity across all six gears. This master rebuild kit is compatible with numerous Acura and Honda models, including the RSX (Type S 2005-2006), TSX, Integra Type R (ITR), Civic Type R (CTR), and Civic Si (2006-2011). The application covers vehicles equipped with K20, K24 engines, and chassis codes EP3, FN2, and FD2. The synchronizers in this kit feature a single cone design for 5th and 6th gears, ensuring smooth engagement at higher speeds. Note that this kit is intended for 6-speed transmissions utilizing a single cone (1-piece) design for the 5th and 6th gears. Ensure your transmission matches this specification before purchasing.
