The Milltek Sport Full System is a direct replacement exhaust designed for the Volkswagen Golf Mk2 GTI 8v, manufactured between 1984 and 1992. Constructed from premium aerospace-grade Type 304 non-magnetic stainless steel, this system offers exceptional durability and resistance to discoloration. Its construction ensures longevity even in harsh conditions. The system features a 2-inch (50.8mm) mandrel-bent pipework, designed to optimize gas flow for improved performance. The larger diameter pipes enhance gas flow without compromising mid-range torque. The system is finished with polished tips for an enhanced aesthetic. Milltek exhaust systems undergo rigorous acoustic development to produce a sporty and crisp tone, while carefully avoiding NVH, drone, or cabin resonance. It is important to note that the use of de-cats or sports cats is intended for off-road or motorsport use only and may prevent the vehicle from passing a MOT test. Only EC type-approved components are legal for road use. This system is not EC Approved according to one source, implying it may not be road-legal in all regions. The system ships in one box measuring 130 x 40 x 30 cm and weighing 27kg. Compatibility is specifically for the VW Golf/GTI Mk2 8v model from 1985-1992.
