The CTS Turbo MK4 1.8T Downpipe is a high-flow catalytic converter engineered to replace the restrictive factory downpipe on your vehicle. The downpipe is constructed from mandrel-bent 3-inch stainless steel tubing and features a CNC-machined turbine discharge flange for a precise fit. Its modular design includes a step-down reducer, allowing it to connect to stock cat-back exhaust systems, simplifying installation. This high-flow catalytic converter is specifically designed for the MK4 platform with the 1.8T engine. Fitment includes the VW Golf/GTI Mk4 (1999.5-2005) in 337/20th, GTI, and standard models, as well as the VW Mk4 GLI 1.8T (2004.5-2005). To avoid a check engine light (CEL) and ensure optimal performance, Stage 2 software or equivalent tuning is required.
