MK5/MK6 2.0T FSI Cold Air Intake Kit

The Integrated Engineering Cold Air Intake Kit is engineered to provide an immediate boost in horsepower and torque for your MK5 GTI & Jetta and MK6 Golf R 2.0T FSI vehicles. This intake system features a velocity stack design with a massive 5-inch filter inlet, aiming to deliver the most horsepower possible from an intake system, with reported peak gains of 10+ HP on stock vehicles and exceeding 10 HP on tuned or big turbo applications. Designed as a direct bolt-on for EA113 FSI 2.0T engines, this kit includes everything needed for a fast installation: IE custom-sized MAF tubing, a 3-inch diameter powder-coated inlet pipe, a custom heat shield, a large air filter, and all necessary hardware. A key feature is its perfect MAF scaling, ensuring the MAF sensor functions as intended by the factory ECU, preventing check engine lights and maintaining optimal performance. The design utilizes computer modeling and 3D scanning for a precise fit, and the included two-piece heat shield effectively directs cold air while preventing hot air induction. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed within an hour using basic tools. The intake utilizes factory airbox mounts for a hassle-free fit and incorporates stock rubber mounts to allow for engine movement, preventing damage to components. The wrinkle black powder-coated finish on the inlet pipes and heat shields, along with a laser-etched stainless steel IE logo badge, adds a clean and sporty appearance to the engine bay. This cold air intake kit is specifically for 2.0T FSI timing belt driven engines. It is not compatible with late model 2.0T TSI timing chain driven engines found on 2008.5+ VW GTI and Jetta/GLI models.
