MK7 GLI FMIC 22" x 9" x 3.25" Bar and Plate Front Mount Intercooler

The ARM MK7 GLI FMIC is a True Front Mount Design intercooler engineered to significantly lower intake air temperatures (IATs) for your performance vehicle. The intercooler core measures 22" x 9" x 3.25" with an ultra-dense fin pack of 20 fins per inch, giving it a total volume of 644 cubic inches and a 700HP efficiency rating. This construction is capable of supporting demanding builds and offers a 74% increase in cooling efficiency. Installation is designed to be straightforward, typically taking 2-3 hours for a novice mechanic. While it requires the removal of the front bumper, it avoids disassembling the radiator stack or draining coolant. The kit includes MK7-specific mounting brackets that attach without cutting or drilling into the crash bar. However, the lower crash bar on the MK7 GLI must be removed for proper fitment, and some users reported needing to modify or remove the ambient temperature sensor bracket. Fitment Note: This intercooler DOES NOT FIT vehicles with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) mounted in the lower bumper. It will fit vehicles with ACC mounted into the VW emblem. The ARM Bi-Cooler Hose Upgrade is available for those running or planning to run an upgraded turbo, allowing the use of a stock-location intercooler in conjunction with this FMIC for even greater cooling efficiency.
