MK7 GTI Catted Downpipe

The ARM Motorsports MK7 GTI Catted Downpipe is engineered for enhanced exhaust flow and performance. Constructed from TIG-welded T304 grade stainless steel, its single-piece design eliminates common exhaust leaks found in multi-piece counterparts. The downpipe includes a 200-cell high-flow catalyst to minimize emissions and exhaust odors, making it a suitable option over catless variants. It comes with a 2.5" reducer for connection to the stock exhaust system and a 3" adapter for upgraded cat-back systems, utilizing a secure CNC machined v-band connection. A stainless steel flex section is integrated between the turbo and mid-pipe to reduce stress on the turbocharger during aggressive driving. Pairing this downpipe with appropriate tuning software, such as Stage 2+ tunes, can unlock significant performance gains, allowing for boost targets over 25psi without excessive turbocharger strain. The manufacturer claims potential gains of up to 60 whp and 105 wtq on the stock IS20 turbocharger when combined with a proper tune. This downpipe does not fit right-hand-drive vehicles. It is compatible with Volkswagen Golf VII, Golf VII Facelift (FWD), Jetta VII / GLI (FWD), and Audi 8V A3 (FWD) models equipped with the 2.0T Gen3 or 2.0T engine. The kit includes the catted downpipe, stock exhaust reducer, upgraded exhaust extension, and mounting hardware. ARM Motorsports offers a lifetime warranty against defects in craftsmanship and fitment.
