The CTS Turbo oil catch can kit offers a premier solution for the MK7+ GTI & Golf, designed to prevent oil vapors from entering the intake manifold and clogging intake valves on direct-injection engines. This buildup can lead to reduced performance and poor fuel mileage. By installing this kit, you can help keep your intake valves clean, ensure your engine runs smoothly, and mitigate issues with the PCV system. The kit features components CNC machined from T6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, including a billet aluminum valve cover breather and a billet aluminum catch can equipped with a billet oil-level dipstick. It also includes -10 AN Black-Series braided hoses, a mounting bracket, stainless steel hardware, a hose-wrangler clamp, and all necessary installation hardware. The factory PCV gasket must be reused. This catch can kit is specifically designed to fit the 2015-2021 MK7 and MK7.5 facelift VW GTI, the 2015-2021 MK7 VW Golf/Alltrack/Sportwagen 1.8TSI, and the 2019-2022 MK7 VW Jetta GLI 2.0T. It is important to note that your engine mount bolt must have a stud for mounting the catch can. If it has a flat bolt, you will need to purchase a specific double-ended stud (N91029602). It is also recommended to replace the gasket (06K103484F) during installation. Additionally, during winter months, caution is advised as the liquid inside the catch can may freeze, potentially causing engine damage. Pay close attention to the liquid level or consider removing the catch can during sub-freezing temperatures.
