The Cometic C5906-080 is a high-performance Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered for specific Mazda LF-VE, L3-VE, L5-VE MZR engines, and Ford Duratec 23EW applications. Constructed with 8 layers of proprietary high-temperature coated and uncoated stainless steel, this gasket is designed to provide superior sealing performance. MLS technology requires less clamp load, leading to reduced bore distortion and improved load distribution across the sealing surface. Proprietary coatings and embossments create a micro-seal for fluids against the head and block. Key specifications for this gasket include a compressed thickness of .080 inches, a round bore shape, and a bore size of 90mm. The gasket features 8 layers of steel for enhanced durability and performance.
