Description

The Cometic C4252-056 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) cylinder head gasket engineered to provide superior sealing for high-performance applications, specifically for Honda H22A4/H22A7 engines. This gasket features a precise 87mm bore and a .056-inch thickness, contributing to optimal compression and sealing. Constructed with multiple layers of stainless steel, this MLS gasket ensures even pressure distribution across its entire surface, leading to enhanced tightness and durability. The outer stainless steel layers are protected by a high-temperature and chemical-resistant polymer coating. Additionally, a PTFE (Teflon) topcoat is applied to further improve resistance against fretting and to ensure effective cold sealing. As stated by the manufacturer, no additional sealants or re-tightening after installation are required, simplifying the installation process.
