The Cometic C4232-060 is a Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for demanding, high-output engines. Constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel, its outer layers are coated with Viton, a heat-resistant elastomer capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F). This robust construction offers increased strength, resilience, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block configurations. With a compressed operating thickness of 0.060 inches and a bore size of 81.5mm, this gasket is designed to meet precise engine requirements. It is ideal for applications where sealing integrity is critical and requires no additional sealants. This Cometic MLS head gasket is specifically designed to fit the following vehicles: 1994-2001 Acura Integra GS-R, 1997-1998 and 2000-2001 Acura Integra Type R, 1999-2000 Honda Civic Si, and 1994-1997 Honda Civic del Sol VTEC.
