MLS Head Gasket

Unlike traditional gaskets, MLS gaskets do not require sealants and are ideal for applications combining aluminum heads with either aluminum or cast iron blocks, effectively withstanding the shearing forces between different materials. Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, these gaskets offer enhanced strength, improved rebound capabilities, and superior resistance to corrosion. The outer layers are embossed and coated with Viton, a high-performance fluoroelastomer rubber material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F), ensuring reliable sealing across a variety of demanding conditions. The center shim layer is made of uncoated stainless steel, allowing for variations in thickness to meet specific engine requirements. This particular gasket features a 3.910" bore opening and a compressed thickness of .051". It is compatible with GM LS-Series engines and is sold individually.
