MLS Head Gasket

The Cometic C4614-040 MLS Head Gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for demanding, high-output engines. Constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel, this gasket offers superior strength, rebound capability, and resistance to corrosion. Its design is ideal for applications involving aluminum heads to aluminum blocks or aluminum heads to cast iron blocks, effectively withstanding the shearing forces between dissimilar materials. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated with Viton, a high-performance elastomer that can withstand temperatures up to 482°F (250°C). The center layer is made of uncoated stainless steel, providing a durable shim layer. This specific gasket has a bore size of 90.0mm and a compressed thickness of 0.040 inches. It is designed for Nissan QR25DE 2.5L engines from the 2007-2012 model years, including Altima and Sentra variants, as well as 2008-2012 Nissan Rogues. It is noted as being EXCEPT for the Nissan Frontier. Cometic MLS head gaskets require no sealants and are manufactured in the United States with American-sourced materials.
