The Ford MMT6 Gearbox Service & Upgrade offers a comprehensive rebuild and enhancement for the transmission in your Ford Focus ST or RS. This service meticulously replaces your factory components with Mountune's performance-oriented parts, including steel-caged bearings and carbon-lined synchros. During the service, experienced Mountune technicians will inspect all gears, synchros, shift forks, bearings, and shafts. If any parts are found to be worn or unserviceable, Mountune will contact you with a quote for replacement parts before proceeding. The MMT6 gearbox will then be professionally rebuilt in-house, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. After the rebuild, the transmission is fully assembled and shipped back to you, ready for installation. Optional upgrades are available, such as the Mountune quick shifter, WPC surface treatment for further reduced friction and wear, and a Quaife ATB differential for improved traction and cornering. A 6-month warranty against defects in parts or workmanship is included, though it does not cover installation labor or damage from racing or abuse. This service is applicable to the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST 2.0L EcoBoost and the 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS 2.3L EcoBoost. Mountune offers an optional 3-way shipping service for $280, which includes a heavy-duty shipping container and return label to their facility, with the upgraded transmission shipped back at no additional cost. Please note this shipping option is only available for the lower 48 United States. Mountune does not offer removal or installation services; professional installation is recommended.
