The MMR Performance MMX short shifter is a gearshift upgrade for the MINI F56. It features a re-engineered shifter unit with a billet surround and gear knob, providing a 33% reduction in throw. The shifter is finished with titanium anodizing and red stitching on the gaiter.

The MMX Performance MINI F56 short shifter kit is designed as a direct OE replacement, offering an enhanced driving experience through improved ergonomics and interior aesthetics. This kit completely replaces the original shifter unit with a re-engineered shaft, billet surround, and a heavyweight billet gear knob. The primary benefit is a significant 33% reduction in gear throw, resulting in crisper and more precise gear changes. The billet surround is available in either Titanium or Black anodizing, contributing to an upgraded interior look. The kit includes a new leather gaiter, offered with red, grey, or black stitching options, and the heavyweight billet gear knob features MMR union jack flag detailing. Installation requires no trimming or cutting. This short shifter is exclusively for manual transmission models and does not fit MINIs equipped with automatic or DCT transmissions. It is compatible with F-Series MINI models including the F54 Clubman, F55 5-door, and F56 3-door, across Cooper, Cooper S, Cooper SD, and JCW variants from 2014 onwards.
