The Mobil Mobil 600 XP ISO 460 is an extra high-performance gear oil formulated with outstanding extreme pressure characteristics and load-carrying properties, making it suitable for all types of enclosed gear drives with circulation or splash lubrication systems. Designed to meet the demands of modern gearbox technology, which is trending towards smaller units with higher power density, Mobilgear 600 XP Series oils offer enhanced protection for gears, bearings, and seals. This gear oil is specifically formulated to protect gear teeth from wear in its earliest stages, including micropitting, which can lead to significant damage. Mobilgear 600 XP Series exceeds industry requirements for bearing wear protection, reportedly providing up to 15 times the wear protection as measured by the FAG FE 8 test.
