Mobil Glygoyle 220 Compressor Oil

The Mobil Glygoyle 220 is a fully synthetic, polyalkylene glycol (PAG) compressor oil engineered to provide outstanding benefits in efficiency, extended oil life, and equipment protection. Developed for operating conditions beyond the capabilities of other synthetic lubricants and mineral oils, it delivers exceptional EP/antiwear protection for critical components, a high level of micropitting protection for sensitive gear systems, and robust defense against rust and corrosion in-service. This lubricant exhibits excellent lubricity inherent to its fully synthetic formulation, along with a low traction coefficient that leads to increased energy efficiency and reduced bulk oil/system temperatures. It also offers very good thermal and oxidative stability, which helps to minimize sludge formation and deposits. The Mobil Glygoyle 220 is designed to outperform mineral and PAO synthetic lubricants in gear and hydrocarbon gas compression applications, offering extended seal, oil, and gearbox life by allowing more torque while potentially lowering operating oil sump temperatures. Key features include resistance against foam buildup and excellent low-temperature fluidity due to its low pour points. The ISO 150 to 1000 grades are NSF H1 registered and comply with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 for lubricants with incidental food contact. While PAG lubricants can absorb more water, the Mobil Glygoyle Series oils pass major rust tests, including ASTM D665A and Bethlehem Steel rust test parts A/B, and receive 0,0 ratings in the DIN 51802 Emcor rust test with distilled water. However, it is not recommended for use in areas where saltwater contamination is expected.
