Mobil Glygoyle 220 ISO Compressor Oil

The Mobil Glygoyle Series is a line of superior performance gear, bearing, and compressor oils engineered with fully synthetic polyalkylene glycol (PAG) technology. These lubricants are specifically developed to provide outstanding efficiency, extended oil life, and robust equipment protection, even under operating conditions that surpass the limits of conventional synthetic and mineral oils. This fully synthetic PAG lubricant offers exceptional EP/antiwear protection for critical components, a high level of micropitting protection for sensitive gear systems, and protection against rust and corrosion. It also provides resistance against foam buildup and maintains excellent lubricity. A key advantage is its low traction coefficient, which contributes to increased energy efficiency and reduced bulk oil/system temperatures. Furthermore, it exhibits very good thermal and oxidative stability, helping to minimize sludge formation and deposits. Developed to outperform mineral and PAO synthetic lubricants, Mobil Glygoyle Series oils are ideal for gear and hydrocarbon gas compression applications. In worm gears, they facilitate greater torque transmission and can lower operating oil sump temperatures, leading to extended seal, oil, and gearbox life. For gas compressors, their limited solubility with hydrocarbons reduces lubricant dilution and enhances equipment protection. These oils feature high VIs (170-285) for a wide operating temperature range and pass rigorous rust and foam tests, though they are not recommended for use in areas with expected saltwater contamination.
