The Mobil Rarus 824 is a supreme performance synthetic air compressor lubricant, primarily designed for severe duty reciprocating air compressors. It is formulated with specific synthetic base-oils and an advanced additive system to provide exceptional equipment protection and reliability, especially in demanding conditions where mineral oils fall short. The Mobil Rarus 800 Series offers significant advantages over conventional mineral oils, including superior wear protection and outstanding resistance to oxidation and thermal degradation. Furthermore, it significantly lowers the potential for fires and explosions due to its virtual absence of deposit formation and higher autogenous ignition temperatures, enhancing both performance and safety.
