The Mobil Mobil XHP 222 is an extended-service lithium complex grease formulated for a wide variety of applications and demanding operating conditions. This grease excels in providing excellent high-temperature performance, coupled with superb adhesion, structural stability, and exceptional resistance to water contamination. Key features of the Mobil Mobil XHP 222 include a high level of chemical stability and excellent protection against rust and corrosion. It boasts a high dropping point, with a maximum recommended operating temperature of 140°C (284°F). The Mobilgrease XHP 220 series, to which this product belongs, is available in various NLGI grades (00, 0, 1, 2, and 3) and uses an ISO VG 220 base oil viscosity. Specifically, Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is fortified with 0.75% molybdenum disulfide for enhanced extreme pressure (EP) protection, safeguarding against wear in conditions that can lead to oil film loss. This grease is ideal for industrial, automotive, construction, and marine sectors, particularly in environments with high temperatures, water contamination, shock loading, and extended re-lubrication intervals.
