The Mobilgrease 28 is a supreme performance, wide-temperature, antiwear grease engineered to meet the rigorous demands of aviation and other challenging applications. It is formulated with a unique polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid and an organo-clay (non-soap) thickener, providing exceptional stability and performance. This grease offers outstanding lubrication properties across a wide temperature spectrum. Its wax-free synthetic base fluid and high viscosity index contribute to excellent low-temperature pumpability and very low starting and running torque, which can help reduce operating temperatures in rolling element bearings. The organo-clay thickener provides a high dropping point (around 300ºC), ensuring excellent stability at elevated temperatures. Mobilgrease 28 resists water washout, offers superior load-carrying ability, reduces frictional drag, and effectively prevents excessive wear. Designed to meet key military and commercial aviation specifications, Mobilgrease 28 has a proven track record of performance and reliability. It effectively lubricates rolling element bearings under conditions of high speeds and temperatures and is also capable of lubricating heavily loaded sliding mechanisms, such as wing flap screw jacks. Its formulation ensures longer relubrication intervals due to its high thermal/oxidative stability and provides excellent protection against wear and corrosion, helping to extend equipment life.
