Mobilgrease 33 Lithium Complex Grease

The Mobilgrease 33 is a high-performance lithium-complex grease engineered for general-purpose aircraft applications. It delivers outstanding lubrication performance across a wide spectrum of temperatures and operating conditions, featuring a consistency between NLGI grades 1 and 2. This grease is formulated with a 100% polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base oil, chosen for its exceptional thermal and oxidative resistance, low volatility, and superb low-temperature capabilities. Unlike ester-based oils, PAO offers resistance to degradation from water. The synthetic PAO base oil provides excellent low-temperature mobility and pumpability, contributing to very low starting and running torque values. The lithium complex thickener system imparts excellent structural stability and superior resistance to water washout. Furthermore, the advanced additive package provides enhanced protection against rust and wear, as well as improved load-carrying capacity. This formulation aims to exceed the minimum requirements of the MIL-PRF-23827 specification for aviation greases. Key advantages of Mobilgrease 33 include its ability to maintain excellent lubricant film protection at high temperatures due to its high viscosity index polyalphaolefin basestock, ensuring a very wide operating temperature range.
