The Mobilgrease XHP 462 is an extended service lithium complex grease formulated using high-performance, proprietary lithium complex manufacturing technology. It is intended for a wide range of heavy-duty applications and operating conditions across industrial, automotive, construction, and marine sectors. This grease provides excellent high-temperature performance with a maximum recommended operating temperature of 140°C (284°F). It exhibits excellent adhesion, structural stability, and resistance to water contamination, ensuring proper lubrication even in severe water exposure conditions. Its highly adhesive and cohesive structure helps minimize leakage and extend re-lubrication intervals, reducing maintenance requirements. Mobilgrease XHP 462 also offers excellent rust and corrosion resistance, protecting lubricated parts in hostile aqueous environments. Furthermore, it provides very good resistance to thermal, oxidative, and structural degradation at high temperatures, extending grease life and enhancing bearing protection. Its formulation includes a 3% molybdenum disulfide content, providing enhanced extreme pressure (EP) and anti-wear (AW) protection for heavily loaded and high-sliding applications, helping to prevent wear under conditions that can lead to oil film breakdown.
