The Mobil Mobilmet 763 is an extra high-performance neat cutting oil from the Mobilmet 700 series, delivered in a 55-gallon drum. Its chlorine-free and anti-mist properties contribute to a safer and more pleasant working environment by preventing oil mist formation. The Mobilmet 760 Series oils are designed to offer superior surface finish, extended tool life, and effective control of built-up edge, which leads to fewer rejects. The light, transparent color allows for a clear view of the machining operation, enabling closer tolerances to be consistently achieved. Its excellent lubricity ensures cooler work pieces, potentially increasing feed rates and reducing operating costs. While highly effective for challenging steel applications, Mobilmet 760 Series oils are not recommended for use with copper and its alloys due to their inherent aggressiveness towards these softer yellow metals.
