The Mobil Mobiltac 325 NC is an extra high performance, non-leaded, diluent-type, heavy-bodied open gear lubricant engineered for a wide array of open gear and mining applications. This lubricant utilizes a non-chlorinated, volatile solvent to ensure fluidity during application, even in low temperatures. Upon application, the solvent evaporates, transforming the lubricant into a flexible, adhesive, high-strength consistency that maintains its integrity throughout its service life. Mobiltac 325 NC adheres strongly to gear teeth and other machine elements, resisting excessive throw-off and forming a wear-resistant, continuous film ideal for boundary lubrication conditions. Mobiltac 325 NC will not harden, chip, or flake in cold weather, is self-healing, and does not create a hard buildup in gear-tooth roots. Minimal dripping and throw-off contribute to less product waste and reduced costs, and the lubricant is easily cleaned with a solvent-soaked rag. It offers resistance to rain, snow, and process water washing, with flash points that minimize fire risk. These advanced gear and mining lubricants can be applied easily by hand or through automatic dispensers, building on the decades-long success of the Mobiltac brand in demanding industrial environments.
