The Mobil Mobilube HD Plus is a commercial gear lubricant formulated from select base oils and an advanced additives system.

This lubricant provides excellent chemical and thermal stability at elevated temperatures, good performance in low temperatures, and good rust protection from water contamination. It is recommended for applications requiring API GL-5 and MT-1 service.

The Mobil Mobilube HD Plus SAE 80W-90 is an extra high-performance commercial gear lubricant designed for demanding heavy-duty applications. Formulated with select base oils and an advanced additives system, it provides robust protection in commercial transmissions, axles, and final drives that experience extreme pressures and shock loading. Key benefits of Mobilube HD Plus include excellent thermal stability and resistance to high-temperature oxidation, which extends gear and bearing life by minimizing deposits and ensuring longer seal life. It offers good protection against wear in low-speed/high-torque conditions and against scoring at high speeds, thereby increasing load-carrying capability and reducing operating costs. The lubricant also provides excellent rust, staining, and corrosion protection, contributing to reduced wear and longer component life. Furthermore, it ensures effective low-temperature lubrication for reduced wear and easier start-up, and its wide multipurpose capability helps simplify inventory by reducing the number of required gear lubricants. It maintains effective lubrication through good resistance to foaming and is compatible with typical automotive seals and gaskets to minimize leakage and contamination.
