The Mobil Mobilux EP Grease, NLGI Grade 0, is a high-performance lithium hydroxystearate grease designed for a wide range of industrial applications, including heavy-duty scenarios with high unit pressures or shock loads. This formula offers superior protection against wear, rust, and water washout, ensuring equipment reliability and longevity. Key features of Mobilux EP greases include their proven performance in corrosion protection, low-temperature pumpability, and high-temperature service life. The Timken OK load of 40 lb indicates strong load-carrying and extreme pressure capabilities, essential for reducing wear under demanding conditions and vibration. These greases are formulated to protect equipment in moist or wet environments, extending bearing life and minimizing downtime. Available in NLGI grades from 00 to 3, with base oil viscosities of ISO VG 150 and 320, the Mobilux EP 0 is suitable for specialized applications such as centralized lubrication systems. The recommended operating temperature range for Mobilux EP 0, 1, 2, and 3 is -20ºC to 130ºC. For applications like enclosed gears and bearings in poorly sealed gear cases, Mobilux EP 004 and 023 are recommended with an operating range of -20ºC to 120ºC. This product is packaged in a 121.20 lb (54.98 kg) keg, suitable for industrial use.
