Construction includes a forged aluminum cover, mono-drive hub, and premium friction materials. The kit provides soft progressive engagement, light pedal effort, and quick shifting with mild to moderate transmission gear noise. It is fully rebuildable and most components can be ordered separately.

The ACT Mod-Twin 225 HD Rigid Street Clutch Kit is engineered for high-horsepower AWD vehicles, offering a robust solution for street, strip, race, and rally applications. With a substantial 700 ft/lb torque capacity, this clutch is built to handle significant power increases, providing 97% more torque capacity over OE. The kit utilizes a multi-disc design with organic friction materials and a solid hub disc style, contributing to its performance capabilities. The construction features a forged aluminum cover, a rigid Mono-Drive hub, and premium friction materials with hardened wear points. This combination ensures high-heat tolerances and maximum performance. Drivers will experience a blend of comfortable operation and performance. The clutch offers soft progressive engagement, light pedal effort, and quick shifting, though it may produce mild to moderate transmission gear noise. The design prioritizes a lightweight and rigid structure for quicker shifts and reliable service. Included in the kit are a CNC-machined and dynamically balanced flywheel, pressure plate cover, diaphragm spring, face, puck-style ceramic friction plates, rigid mono-drive hub assembly, floater, patented Monoloc Collar, release bearing, alignment tool, and a pilot bearing if needed. The Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable, with most components available separately.
