The GM Performance 88962718 is an Engine Control Module (ECM) that is part of the Ram Jet 502 Fuel Injection Kit (P/N 12499249). This kit is calibrated for a 502/502 GM engine (P/N 12499121) and is designed for off-highway applications only. The ECM can be replaced with an aftermarket unit for use on other big-block applications with proper calibration. The kit includes the ECM along with brackets, sensors, bolts, nuts, gaskets, and other small parts for the fuel injection system. The Ram Jet 502 engine utilizes a speed-density fuel management system, with the ECM controlling fuel metering, ignition timing, idle speed, and on-board diagnostics based on inputs from various sensors (MAP, RPM, ECT, TPS, Knock Sensor).
