Description

The Pertronix Ignitor II Module is a replacement ignitor designed for Pertronix Flame-Thrower VW Billet Distributors #D186810 and #D186813. It offers adaptive dwell for peak energy across the RPM range, reducing misfires and improving engine performance. The module delivers significantly more available energy and plug voltage in the 3000-5000 RPM range.

It compensates for electronic delay by adjusting spark timing and synchronizes peak current and spark timing to reduce heat buildup. This service part is intended as a direct replacement for specific Pertronix distributor models.
