Designed for the Mazda MX-5 Miata, specifically NA and NB series from 1990-2005, this kit simplifies the installation process with its molded construction. The kit features three precisely molded pieces: one for each side of the transmission tunnel and a third for the rear parcel shelf. Each piece is cut to the exact shape required for your Miata's floor panel and includes pre-drilled holes, ensuring a perfect fit without needing to remove the dashboard. This direct-fit design allows for a professional-looking installation, potentially saving on labor costs. While the carpet kit itself is comprehensive, an Underfelt Kit is highly recommended as an additional purchase. The underfelt enhances the plushness of the carpet and provides beneficial sound deadening. For 1990-97 NA Miatas, replacing the original underfelt is often necessary due to age, potential tearing during removal, or water damage. In addition to the main cabin carpet, Moss Miata also offers molded trunk carpet kits, available with or without a spare tire cover, to address the entire carpeting needs of your vehicle.
