Sealed Power plasma-moly piston ring sets feature heat-resistant plasma-molybdenum facing material. Plasma-moly is a relatively soft and porous ring facing with excellent oil carrying capacity and fast conformability (break-in) to the cylinder bore surface. They are a premium part of the comprehensive line of Sealed Power engine components that provide innovative designs, use leading edge materials, and utilize ISO and QS certified manufacturing to deliver top-quality products that meet the rigorous demands of both classic and today's modern engines. Features and benefits of Sealed Power plasma-moly piston ring sets include: improved bond strength of plasma-moly provides excellent resistance to flaking, controlled porosity of the coating results in improved top ring lubrication, variety of top ring materials, decreased friction, high melting point of moly for very high resistance to scuffing, exacting tolerances, meets or exceeds OEM specifications, recommended for street use, marine use, and for racing where file fitting is not required.
