The Liqui Moly Molygen New Generation SAE 5W-40 is a fully synthetic motor oil designed with unique Molecular Friction Control (MFC) technology. This advanced formulation actively prevents deposit formation while simultaneously reducing frictional losses within the engine. The synergetic effect of the MFC technology provides optimum wear protection, even under the most demanding operating conditions. Key benefits include improved fuel economy due to friction reduction and extended engine life. The oil's characteristic fluorescent green color serves a dual purpose: aiding in visual leak detection and acting as a distinct brand recognition element. It is tested and proven safe for modern emission systems, including catalytic converters and turbochargers. This motor oil meets numerous specifications and approvals, including ACEA A3/B4, API SN, BMW Longlife-01 (up to 2018), Fiat 9.55535-H2/N2/Z2, MB 229.5, Opel/GM-LL-B-025, Porsche A40, Renault RN 0700/0710, and VW 502 00/505 00. It is suitable for gasoline and compatible diesel engines that require or recommend these specifications. It is also compatible with engines fitted with turbochargers, provided the OEM allows synthetic 5W-40 oils. Always refer to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications before use and do not mix with oils outside these standards unless explicitly approved.
