The Takeda Momentum Black Series Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System, part number 58-10002R, is engineered to enhance the performance of the 2017-2021 Honda Civic Type R 2.0L (t). This system is constructed with 100% twill weave carbon fiber, offering a significant weight reduction of 44% compared to the factory component. The core of this intake is the Pro 5R performance air filter, a seven-and-a-half-inch tall, pre-oiled, five-layer cotton gauze media designed for maximum airflow and power. This filter provides a measured flow of 365 CFM @ 7" H2O and outflows the factory intake by 35%, delivering dyno-proven gains of up to +15 HP and +14 Lbs. x Ft. TQ. The sealed air box design, made from carbon fiber, works to keep out hot engine bay air while still allowing for visual inspection of the large air filter.
