The Rockford Fosgate P1000X1BD is a 1-channel mono amplifier from the Punch Series, engineered to deliver significant power and deep bass. Utilizing efficient Class BD circuit topology, this amplifier provides 1,000 Watts of power into a 1-Ohm load, making it ideal for driving demanding subwoofers. Optimized for low-frequency response, the P1000X1BD is best suited for mid-bass speakers or subwoofers. Its 1-ohm capability easily handles configurations like a pair of 4-ohm DVC subwoofers or a quad setup of 2-ohm DVC subwoofers. The amplifier boasts a frequency response of 20Hz to 250Hz +/- 1.0dB and includes features such as a 12dB/octave Butterworth low-pass crossover and an infrasonic filter. Key technologies integrated into this amplifier include CTA-2006 compliance for real power ratings, C.L.E.A.N. setup for precise gain matching with input and output clip LEDs, and NOMAD advanced protection circuitry to safeguard against shorts and low impedances. The cast aluminum heatsink ensures effective heat dissipation, while balanced differential inputs help minimize noise picked up by signal cables. This amplifier is designed and engineered in the USA.
