Mono Amplifier

The Rockford Fosgate T500-1bdCP is a 500-watt Class BD mono amplifier engineered to provide a cleaner, louder, and more impressive listening experience. This constant power delivery ensures consistent performance, making it suitable for driving demanding subwoofer setups. This amplifier is specifically optimized for subwoofer use, with a frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 250Hz +/- 0.5dB. It features a 24dB/octave Butterworth low-pass crossover adjustable from 35Hz to 250Hz and a 12dB/octave infrasonic filter set at 28Hz to prevent unwanted subsonic frequencies. The amplifier utilizes a MOSFET power supply and output stage for robust performance and includes balanced differential inputs to eliminate noise. Constructed with a full-size chassis, the T500-1bdCP accepts 4 AWG power and ground wire connections and 8 AWG to 18 AWG speaker wire. It boasts CTA-2006 compliance, ensuring its power ratings are genuine. The amplifier also includes a switchable Punch Bass EQ with up to +18dB boost at 45Hz and RCA pass-thru outputs for easy system expansion. An optional remote Punch Bass EQ is available for on-the-fly adjustments.
