Mono Amplifier

The Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bdCP is a high-performance mono subwoofer amplifier from the Power Series, engineered to deliver exceptional audio power and clarity. This amplifier is capable of outputting a substantial 2,500 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms and 1 ohm, and 1,500 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms. For even greater power, two T2500-1bdCP amplifiers can be linked together using the Power-Sync feature to create a massive 5,000-watt amplifier system. The unit is CEA-2006 compliant, guaranteeing that its power ratings reflect real-world output rather than marketing figures. Key features include a Class BD amplifier design for high efficiency, MOSFET power and output stages, and a Dynamic Thermal Management cooling system to ensure reliable operation. For audio tuning, it offers a variable low-pass filter (32-250 Hz at 24 dB/octave), a selectable subsonic filter (28 Hz at 12 dB/octave), and a variable bass boost (0-18 dB at 45 Hz). Preamp inputs and outputs are included for system flexibility. Installation requires 1/0-gauge power and ground leads, and a 300A fuse is recommended (wiring and fuse not included). When installing multiple amplifiers, an additional 250-amp in-line fuse between the distribution block and this amplifier is advised, as it does not have onboard fuses. The amplifier includes visual indicators for power, thermal status, and output levels.
