The PowerBass XMA-800D is a compact mono-block amplifier engineered to provide significant power output without requiring extensive installation space, making it suitable for vehicles with limited room for audio equipment. Utilizing high-efficiency Class D (Full Range Digital) technology, the unit operates at over 85% efficiency to deliver consistent performance for your subwoofer system. The amplifier is 1-ohm stable and features a double-sided copper-plated PCB with a high-current voltage ripple rejection circuit. Key technical specifications include a peak power rating of 1600 watts and an RMS output of 800 watts at 1-ohm load. It includes a variable subsonic filter (10 Hz - 50 Hz), a 40-click variable low-pass crossover, and a wired secondary remote gain control for precise audio tuning. Additionally, the unit features a strapable dual-amp circuit for power doubling when bridged at a 2-ohm minimum load. Safety and integration are managed via a robust protection circuit covering impedance overload, speaker shorts, thermal overheating, and DC output.
