The Alpine MRP-M450 is a compact and powerful mono subwoofer Class-D car amplifier designed to deliver robust low-frequency sound. It offers a frequency response ranging from 20Hz to 200Hz with a +/-3dB tolerance, ensuring deep and accurate bass reproduction. Power output is rated at 250 watts RMS x 1 into a 4-ohm load and impressively doubles to 400 watts RMS x 1 into a 2-ohm load. This amplifier is equipped with a variable low-pass filter adjustable from 50-200 Hz with a 24 dB/octave slope, allowing precise integration with your subwoofer. A tuned Bass EQ provides 0-12 dB of boost at 50 Hz, while a subsonic filter at 24 dB cuts off frequencies below 15 Hz, protecting your subwoofer from damaging infrasonic energy. Internally, it utilizes a MOSFET power supply for efficient operation and STAR Topology to minimize internal noise and prevent ground interference. The unit accepts both speaker- and preamp-level inputs and features gold-plated screw terminals for secure connections. Installation requires an 8-gauge power and ground wire kit, which is not included. The amplifier's dimensions are 9-3/16"W x 2-3/8"H x 9-1/2"D, and it weighs 2.8 Kg. It is CEA-2006 compliant, ensuring reliable performance measurements.
