The HKS HIPERMAX Series MAX IV GT coilover kit is engineered as a high-performance suspension solution for street and track driving. It utilizes a single tube damper design, which allows for more precise and consistent control over dampening. The kit incorporates features like a dust boot to protect the damper shaft from debris and a durable PNE Coating on the threads, ensuring easier ride height adjustments over time. This coilover system offers 30 steps of damping force adjustment, allowing drivers to fine-tune the suspension for various conditions, from daily driving on highways to spirited driving on winding roads or track use. The front spring rate is 4kg, with a lowering of -25mm, and the rear spring rate is 4kg, with a lowering of -29mm. Aluminum is used for components like the bracket, ride height adjusters, and lock nuts to reduce unsprung weight, though this may not apply to all vehicles. **Fitment restrictions apply:** This kit is compatible with vehicles that have a front knuckle insertion diameter of 50.5mm. It is **not compatible with the Si grade model** and vehicles with a front knuckle insertion diameter of 52.0mm. Removal of the front knuckle and hub assembly is required to remove the stock suspension. Professional installation is recommended.
