Show original supplier description
Alcon utilizes its extensive knowledge from over 30 years in motorsport braking innovation to deliver aftermarket solutions that excel in every critical area. The Advantage Extreme kits feature either the Mono6 CAR97 or Mono4 CAR98 calipers, which are gravity die-cast from an aluminum alloy for optimal strength and low weight. These calipers boast a monobloc piston design for high stiffness and a firm pedal feel, with staggered piston bore sizes to ensure even pad wear. The pin-mounted pads contribute to low threshold pressure and reduced noise. This kit includes all necessary components for a full upgrade, ensuring a comprehensive solution for improving your vehicle's braking capabilities. The CAR97 caliper is a 6-piston monobloc unit suitable for front applications, while the CAR98 is a 4-piston monobloc caliper available for front or rear fitment. Alcon's commitment to quality is evident in their rigorous testing, which far exceeds the demands of even the most extreme users. This dedication ensures reliable performance, reduced stopping distances, and a superior brake feel, whether you're navigating city streets or pushing your limits on the track.
