The BimmerWorld Precision Front Upper Control Arm Bearing Kit addresses common issues found in the multi-link front end of G8X series BMWs, similar to those in the E9X and F8X models. In stock vehicles, the large, soft rubber bushings in the G87 M2, G80 M3, and G82 M4 allow for multi-axis rotation, but this can lead to the tire skipping under braking, especially when ABS is engaged. This kit offers a direct solution by employing a fully-sealed OE-quality ball joint, or monoball, that ensures full multi-axis rotation. Its robust construction and sealed design make it ideal for performance street cars and extremely durable for demanding applications like 24-hour endurance racing. Installation of these bearings will significantly enhance braking performance and turn-entry grip. This precision monoball bearing kit is manufactured in the USA and uses European-made OE bearing inserts. It is compatible with all G8X M2, M3, and M4 models, including the G87 (2024-) M2, G87 (2023-) M2 CS, G80 (2021-) M3, G80 (2021-) M3 Competition RWD, G80 (2021-) M3 xDrive Competition AWD, G82 / G83 (2021-) M4, G82 / G83 (2021-) M4 CSL, G82 / G83 (2021-) M4 Competition RWD, and G82 / G83 (2021-) M4 xDrive Competition AWD. Installation requires the removal of the upper control arms, and a press is needed to remove the original bushing. Note that original nuts and bolts are stretched and must be replaced during installation.
