MonoSS Single Adjustable Coilover Kit

Specifically designed for the 2005-2010 Chevrolet Cobalt, these coilovers aim to enhance handling and aesthetics. At the core of the MonoSS system is a robust monotube damper, constructed from a 52mm carbon seamless steel tube and featuring a performance-oriented internal piston for superior damper response. The springs are cold-bent from high-strength SAE9252 steel, striking a balance between sporty performance and acceptable ride comfort for daily driving. To ensure consistent performance across varying temperatures, Godspeed utilizes race-quality shock oil. The front top hats incorporate adjustable pillow ball mounts with Koyo Japan 6204Z bearings for precise camber adjustment, while the rear top hats use a standard type mount. The lower shock brackets are crafted from either lightweight T7075 forged aluminum or durable carbon steel, designed to be durable without adding unnecessary weight, and may include integrated brake line brackets. Each MonoSS coilover kit provides 16 distinct levels of damping adjustability, allowing users to fine-tune the suspension to their specific driving conditions and preferences. Both ride height and spring preload are independently adjustable, offering further customization for optimal vehicle setup. The kit includes front camber plates with pillowball mounts for camber adjustment and features spring rates of 8 kg/mm for the front and 6 kg/mm for the rear. Specific spring dimensions include 180mm length and 62mm inner diameter for the front, and 135mm length with a 62mm inner diameter for the rear. A 1-year warranty from the date of purchase is included. Before installation, it is crucial to verify all hardware and properly set the spring preload to 5-10mm (1/4-3/8 inch).
