This kit is engineered with 36 distinct levels of damping adjustment, allowing precise tuning of both compression and rebound to match your specific handling preferences and comfort needs. Constructed with 6061 billet aluminum for lightweight durability and rust resistance, the collars and upper mounts are hardened with a T6 treatment. The steel shock body is electroplated for enhanced corrosion and rust protection, while a dust boot safeguards the damper seal. The monotube design inherently offers superior heat dissipation, finer damping adjustments, and reduced aeration and cavitation compared to traditional twin-tube systems, leading to a more refined ride quality and consistent performance. Ride height is adjustable via the spring perch, and many applications feature an adjustable lower mount that allows for height adjustment without sacrificing suspension travel. Pillow ball top mounts are included on many applications, which help maintain factory suspension geometry and provide a more direct steering feel. In some cases, these pillow ball mounts also enable camber adjustment, potentially eliminating the need for separate camber kits.
